Tim Packer Fine Arts is pleased to invite the public to a special Studio Open House featuring the giclee on canvas reproductions of Tim Packer. For this one day only we will be offering a 10% discount off the retail price of all giclees. Plus we will pay the HST! A "giclee" ( pronounced jhee-clay, from the french word meaning "to spurt" ) is the highest quality of printing that is available today. Using state of the art ink jet technology and a 10 colour printing process these prints on canvas achieve a level of colour accuracy and detail that was unimaginable several years ago. The pigment based inks have a vibrancy and fade resistance that is unmatched in any other process. These prints are created with a 2" mirrored edge that is wrapped around the wide profile wooden stretchers giving the impression that the painting continues around the side edge of the mounted print. This finished edge allows the canvas to be hung without the requirement of framing. Each print is limited to an edition of 100 and is signed and numbered by the artist.
